§ 106‑360.  Duty ofsheriff.

It shall be the duty of the sheriff, in any county in which the work oftick eradication is in progress, to render all quarantine inspectors anyassistance necessary in the enforcement of G.S. 106‑351 to 106‑363and the regulations of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture andConsumer Services. If the sheriff of any county shall neglect, fail or refuseto render his assistance when so required, he shall be guilty of a Class 1misdemeanor.
