§ 106‑549.61. Regulations authorized.
(a) The Commissioner may by regulations prescribe conditionsunder which poultry products capable of use as human food shall be stored orotherwise handled by any person engaged in the business of buying, selling, freezing,storing, or transporting, in or for intrastate commerce, such articles,whenever the Commissioner deems such action necessary to assure that sucharticles will not be adulterated or misbranded when delivered to the consumer.Violation of any such regulation is prohibited.
(b) The Board shall promulgate such other rules and regulationsas are necessary to carry out the provisions of this Article.
(c) When opportunity is afforded for submission of comments byinterested persons on proposed rules or regulations under this Article, itshall include opportunity for oral presentation of views. (1971, c. 677, s. 14.)
