§ 108A‑1.  Creation.

Every county shall have a board of social services or a consolidatedhuman services board created pursuant to G.S. 153A‑77(b) which shallestablish county policies for the programs established by this Chapter inconformity with the rules and regulations of the Social Services Commission andunder the supervision of the Department of Health and Human Services. Provided,however, county policies for the program of medical assistance shall beestablished in conformity with the rules and regulations of the Department ofHealth and Human Services.
