§ 108A‑55.2.  Collaboration among agencies toensure Medicaid‑related services payments to eligible students withdisabilities in public schools.

The Department shall work with the Department of Public Instruction andlocal education agencies to develop efficient, effective, and appropriateadministrative procedures and guidelines to provide maximum funding forMedicaid‑related services for Medicaid‑eligible students withdisabilities. The procedures and guidelines shall be streamlined to ensure thatlocal education agencies receive Medicaid reimbursement in a timely manner forMedicaid‑related services and administrative outreach to Medicaid‑eligiblestudents with disabilities.
