§ 108A‑71.  Authorization of social servicesprograms.

The Department is hereby authorized to accept all grants‑in‑aidavailable for programs of social services under the Social Security Act, otherfederal laws or regulations, State appropriations and other non‑federalsources.  The Department is designated as the single State agency responsiblefor administering or supervising the administration of such programs.  It isthe intent of this Article that programs of social services be administered sothat the State and its citizens may benefit fully from any grants‑in‑aid.(1981, c. 275, s. 1.)
