§ 113‑26.1. Bureauof Mines; mineral museum.
The Governor and the Council of State are hereby authorized, in theirdiscretion and at such times as the development of the mineral resources andthe expansion of mining operations in the State justify and make reasonablynecessary, to create and establish as a part of the Department a Bureau ofMines, or a mineral museum in cooperation with the National Park Service, to belocated in the western part of the State, with a view to rendering such aid andassistance to mining developments in this State as may be helpful in thisexpanding industry, and to allocate from the Contingency and Emergency Fundsuch funds as may reasonably be necessary for the establishment and operationof such Bureau of Mines or mineral museum.
