§ 113‑303. Arrest,service of process and witness fees of protectors.
All arrest fees and other fees that may be charged in any bill of costsfor service of process by protectors must be paid to the county in which thetrial is held. No witness fee may be taxed in any bill of costs by virtue ofthe appearance of a protector as a witness in a criminal case within hisenforcement jurisdiction. Acceptance by any protector of any arrest fee,witness fee, or any other fee to which he is not entitled is a Class 1misdemeanor. (1965, c. 957, s.2; 1993, c. 539, s. 866; 1994, Ex.
