§ 113A‑224.  Powersof the Commissioner of Agriculture.

(a)        The Commissioner of Agriculture may regulate theimportation, sale, use, culture, collection, transportation, and distributionof a noxious aquatic weed as a plant pest under Article 36 of Chapter 106 ofthe General Statutes.

(b)        This Article shall not be construed to limit any power ofthe Commissioner of Agriculture, the Department of Agriculture and ConsumerServices, or the Board of Agriculture under any other provision of law. (1991, c. 132, s. 1; 1997‑261, s. 109.)
