§ 115C‑13. Duty tomaintain confidentiality of certain records.
Except as otherwise provided by federal law, local boards of educationand their officers and employees shall provide to the State Board and to theSuperintendent all information needed to carry out their duties. It isunlawful for any member of the State Board of Education, the Superintendent ofPublic Instruction, or any employee or officer of the State Board of Educationor the Department of Public Instruction to disclose any of this informationthat the local board or its officers or employees could not lawfully disclose.
