§ 115C‑160. Definitions.

The State Board of Education shall provide appropriate definitionsnecessary to this part of vocational and technical education instruction nototherwise included in this Part. As used in this Part, unless the contextrequires otherwise:

(1)        The term "building trades training" means thedevelopment of vocational skills through the construction of dwellings or otherbuildings and related activities by students in vocational and technicaleducation programs.

(2)        The term "production work" means productionactivities and services performed by vocational and technical education classesunder contract with a second party for remuneration. (1977, c. 490, s. 4; 1981, c. 423, s. 1; 1993, c. 180,s. 3.)
