§ 115C-529. Useful life guidelines. - North Carolina Statutes

§ 115C‑529.  Useful lifeguidelines.

The State Office ofInformation Technology Services shall develop and annually revise guidelinesfor determining the useful life of computers purchased under G.S. 115C‑528.The Division of Purchase and Contract shall develop and periodically reviseguidelines for determining the useful life of automobiles, school buses, andphotocopiers purchased under G.S. 115C‑528. The Local GovernmentCommission shall develop and periodically revise guidelines for determining theuseful life of mobile classroom units purchased under G.S. 115C‑528.Guidelines for computers and photocopiers shall include provisions for upgradesduring the term of the contract. The State Office of Information TechnologyServices, the Division of Purchase and Contract, and the Local GovernmentCommission shall provide their respective guidelines to the State Board ofEducation by November 1, 1996. The State Board of Education shall provide theguidelines to local boards of education by January 1, 1997. (1995 (Reg. Sess., 1996), c.716, s. 15; 2004‑129, s. 34.)
