§ 115D‑16. Elective officials serving as trustees.

The office of trustee of any institution established or operatedpursuant to this Chapter is hereby declared to be an office which may be heldby the holder of any elective office, as defined in G.S. 128‑1.1(d), inaddition to and concurrently with those offices permitted by G.S. 128‑1.1.Appointments made on or before July 1, 1985, by boards of county commissionersor local boards of education of their own members as trustees are herebyvalidated, ratified, and confirmed.
