§ 115D‑77.  Nondiscrimination policy.

It is the policy of the State Board of Community Colleges and of localboards of trustees of the State of North Carolina not to discriminate amongstudents on the basis of race, gender, national origin, religion, age, ordisability.

The State Board and each board of trustees shall give equal opportunityfor employment and compensation of personnel at community colleges, withoutregard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, ordisability, except where specific age, sex or physical or mental requirementsconstitute bona fide occupational qualifications.
