§ 116‑197.  Articleprovides additional and alternative method.

This Article shall be deemed to provide an additional and alternativemethod for the doing of the things authorized hereby and shall be regarded assupplemental and additional to powers conferred by other laws, including G.S.116‑175 to 116‑185, inclusive, and shall not be regarded as inderogation of or as repealing any powers now existing under any other law,either general, special or local; provided, however, that the issuance ofrevenue bonds or revenue refunding bonds under the provisions of this Articleneed not comply with the requirements of any other law applicable to theissuance of bonds.
