§120‑30.11.  Time of appointments; terms of office.

Appointments to theLegislative Research Commission shall be made not earlier than the close ofeach regular session of the General Assembly held in the odd‑numberedyear nor later than 15 days subsequent to the close. The term of office shallbegin on the day of appointment, and shall end on January 15 of the next odd‑numberedyear. No moneys appropriated to the Legislative Research Commission may beexpended for meetings of the Commission, its committees or subcommittees heldafter January 15 of the next odd‑numbered year and before the appointmentof the next Legislative Research Commission.
