§ 120C‑207.  Lobbyistprincipal's fees.

(a)        Except as providedfor in subsection (b) of this section, a fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00)is due and payable to the Secretary of State at the time the principal's firstauthorization statement is filed each calendar year for a lobbyist. Fees socollected shall be deposited in the General Fund of the State. The Secretary ofState shall allow fees required under this section to be paid electronicallybut shall not require the fees to be paid electronically.

(b)        The Secretary ofState shall adopt rules providing for a waiver or reduction of the feesrequired by this section for lobbyist principals that have been grantednonprofit status under 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3).  (1933, c. 11, s. 4; 1961, c. 1151; 1975, c. 820, s.1; 1991, c. 740, s. 1.1; 2005‑456, s. 1; 2006‑201, s. 18; 2008‑213,s. 90.)
