§ 121-7.5. Bentonville Battlefield Fund. - North Carolina Statutes

§ 121‑7.5.  BentonvilleBattlefield Fund.

(a)        Fund. – TheBentonville Battlefield Fund is created as a special fund in the Department ofCultural Resources, Division of State Historic Sites. The interest earned bythe Fund shall be credited to the Fund by the State Treasurer pursuant to G.S.147‑69.2 and G.S. 147‑69.3. The Fund shall be used for operation,interpretation, maintenance, preservation, development, and expansion atBentonville Battlefield State Historic Site.

(b)        Disposition ofFees. – Notwithstanding Chapter 146 of the General Statutes, all receiptsderived from donations or the lease, rental, or other disposition of structuresor products of the land owned by or under the supervision or control of theDivision of Historic Sites in Johnston County shall be credited to the Fund.

(c)        The monies creditedto this Fund pursuant to this section are annually appropriated to theDepartment of Cultural Resources.  (2008‑107, s. 19A.1.)
