§ 122C‑154.  Personnel.

Employees under the directsupervision of the area director are employees of the area authority. For thepurpose of personnel administration, Chapter 126 of the General Statutesapplies unless otherwise provided in this Article. Employees appointed by thecounty program director are employees of the county. In a multicounty program,employment of county program staff shall be as agreed upon in the interlocalagreement adopted pursuant to G.S. 122C‑115.1.
