Part 11.Voluntary Admissions, Involuntary Commitments and Discharges, the PsychiatricService of the University of North Carolina Hospitals at Chapel Hill.

§ 122C‑321.  Voluntaryadmissions and discharges.

Any individual in need oftreatment for mental illness or substance abuse may seek voluntary admission tothe psychiatric service of the University of North Carolina Hospitals at ChapelHill.  Procedures for admission and discharge shall be made in accordance withParts 2 through 4 of this Article. The applicant may be admitted only upon theapproval of the director of the psychiatric service or his designee.
