§127A‑148. Commander may prevent trespass and disorder.
The commander upon anyoccasion of duty may place in arrest during the continuance thereof any personwho shall trespass upon the campground, parade ground, armory, or other placedevoted to such duty, or who shall in any way or manner interrupt or molest theorderly discharge of duty by those under arms, or shall disturb or prevent thepassage of troops going to or returning from any duty. He may prohibit andprevent the sale or use of all spirituous liquors, wine, ale, beer, or cider,the holding of huckster or auction sales, and all gambling within the limits ofthe post, campground, place of encampment, parade, or drill under his command,or within such limits not exceeding one mile therefrom as he may prescribe. Andhe may in his discretion abate as common nuisance all such sales. (1917,c. 200, s. 94; C.S., s. 6893; 1975, c. 604, s. 2.)
