§ 127A‑31.  Location ofunits.

The Governor shall determineand fix the location of the units and headquarters of the National Guard withinthe State; but no organization of the National Guard, members of which shall beentitled to and shall have received compensation under the provisions of theact of Congress approved June 3, 1916, as amended, shall be disbanded withoutthe consent of the President, nor without such consent shall the commissionedor enlisted strength of any such organization be reduced below the minimum thatis now or shall be hereafter prescribed therefor by the President.  (1917, c. 200, s. 9; C.S.,s. 6809; 1921, c. 120, s. 2; 1975, c. 604, s. 2; 2009‑281, s. 1.)
