§ 130A-103. Registration of birth certificates more than five days and less than one year after birth.

§130A‑103.  Registration of birth certificates more than five days andless than one year after birth.

Any birth may be registeredmore than five days and less than one year after birth in the same manner asbirths are registered under this Article within five days of birth. Theregistration shall have the effect as if the registration had occurred withinfive days of birth. The registration however, shall not relieve any person ofcriminal liability for the failure to register the birth within five days ofbirth as required by G.S. 130A‑101.
