§130A‑448.  Asbestos management accreditation fees and course approvalfees.

(a)        The Departmentshall establish and collect asbestos containing material managementaccreditation and annual renewal fees to support the asbestos hazard managementprogram. The fees shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) peraccreditation category, except that the fee for the abatement worker categoryshall not exceed twenty‑five dollars ($25.00). A person who is accreditedin more than one category shall pay a fee for each category.

(b)        The Departmentshall establish and collect fees for approving asbestos management trainingcourses and fees for renewing course approval annually to support the asbestoshazard management program. The fees for approving a training course shall notexceed one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) for each course. The annualrenewal fees shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each course.Each category of a training course shall be subject to a separate fee for itsinitial approval and a separate fee for its annual renewal.
