§ 131E-232. Who may petition; contents of petition.

§ 131E‑232.  Whomay petition; contents of petition.

The Department may petition a court of competent jurisdiction toappoint a temporary manager to operate a long‑term care facility.  Thepetition shall set forth material facts showing that one or more of the groundsfor appointment of a temporary manager set forth in G.S. 131E‑234 exist,that the facts set forth in the petition have been brought to the attention ofthe respondent, and that the conditions described in the petition have not beenremedied within a reasonable period of time.  The petition shall also set fortha brief description of the action or actions necessary to remedy the allegedconditions. (1993, c. 390, s.1.)
