§ 131E-314. Division Reporting.
§ 131E‑314. Division Reporting.
The Division of Medical Assistance of the Department of Health andHuman Services shall report quarterly to the Joint Legislative Health CareOversight Committee on its regulatory activities in the enforcement of this act[Article] and shall provide the Committee with a summary of nonconfidentialinformation on the financial plans and operations of PSOs. The report to theCommittee shall include a description and explanation of any regulations orregulatory interpretations that differ from Department of Insurance regulationsapplicable to HMOs. The report shall also include PSO efforts to improvecommunity health status. The Division shall develop processes or methods tomeasure improvements in health outcomes for Medicare beneficiaries served bymanaged care organizations and shall report quarterly to the Joint LegislativeHealth Care Oversight Committee on the development of these standards.
