§133‑24.  Government contracts; violation of G.S. 75‑1 and 75‑2.

Every person who shall engagein any conspiracy, combination, or any other act in restraint of trade orcommerce declared to be unlawful by the provisions of G.S. 75‑1 and 75‑2shall be guilty of a felony under this section where the combination,conspiracy, or other unlawful act in restraint of trade involves:

(1)        A contract for thepurchase of equipment, goods, services or materials or for construction orrepair let or to be let by a governmental agency;

(2)        A subcontract forthe purchase of equipment, goods, services or materials or for construction orrepair with a prime contractor or proposed prime contractor for a governmentalagency. (1981, c. 764, s. 1.)
