§ 135-109. Reports of earnings.

§ 135‑109.  Reports ofearnings.

The Department of StateTreasurer and Board of Trustees shall require each beneficiary to annuallyprovide a statement of the beneficiary's income received as compensation forservices, including fees, commissions, or similar items, income received frombusiness, and benefits received from the Social Security Administration, thefederal Veterans Administration, any other federal agency, under the NorthCarolina Workers' Compensation Act, or under the provisions of G.S. 127A‑108.The benefit payable to a beneficiary who does not or refuses to provide theinformation requested within 60 days after such request shall not be paid abenefit until the information so requested is provided, and should such refusalor failure to provide such information continue for 240 days after such requestthe right of a beneficiary to a benefit under the Article may be terminated.
