§136‑32.1.  Misleading signs prohibited.

No person shall erect ormaintain within 100 feet of any highway right‑of‑way any warning ordirection sign or marker of the same shape, design, color and size of anyofficial highway sign or marker erected under the provisions of G.S. 136‑30,or otherwise so similar to an official sign or marker as to appear to be anofficial highway sign or marker.  Any person who violates any of the provisionsof this section is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
