§ 140‑14.  NorthCarolina State Art Society within the North Carolina Museum of Art; promotionof public appreciation of art; etc.

The North Carolina State ArtSociety, Incorporated, is administratively located within the North CarolinaMuseum of Art. It shall be the duty of the North Carolina State Art Society topromote the public appreciation of art and its role in the development ofcivilization; to organize State and regional arts advocacy initiatives; and todo all other things deemed necessary to advance the objectives of the Society.
