§ 143‑135.7. Safety officers.

Each contract for a State capital improvement project, as defined inArticle 8B of this Chapter, shall require the contractor to designate aresponsible person as safety officer to inspect the project site for unsafehealth and safety hazards, to report these hazards to the contractor forcorrection, and to provide other safety and health measures on the project siteas required by the terms and conditions of the contract.
