§ 143‑143.3. Temporary toilet facilities at construction sites.
(a) Suitable toilet facilities shall be provided and maintainedin a sanitary condition during construction. An adequate number of facilitiesmust be provided for the number of employees at the construction site. Thereshall be at least one facility for every two contiguous construction sites. Such facilities may be portable, enclosed, chemically treated, tank‑tightunits. Portable toilets shall be enclosed, screened, and weatherproofed withinternal latches. Temporary toilet facilities need not be provided on‑sitefor crews on a job site for no more than one working day and havingtransportation readily available to nearby toilet facilities.
(b) It shall be the duty of the Building Code Council toestablish standards to carry out the provisions of subsection (a) of thissection not inconsistent with the requirements for toilet facilities atconstruction sites established pursuant to federal occupational safety andhealth rules.
