§ 143‑289. Contributions from certain counties and municipalities authorized; other grantsor donations.

The boards of county commissioners of the Counties of Granville, Vanceand Warren and the municipalities within these counties are authorized and empoweredin their discretion to make annual contributions to the Department ofEnvironment and Natural Resources for the purpose of defraying the necessaryexpenses of operation and the Department of Environment and Natural Resourcesis authorized and empowered to accept grants or donations from any interestedcitizens or from any State or federal agency.
