§ 143‑345.8.  NorthCarolina Purchase Directory.

The Division of Purchase and Contract of the Department ofAdministration shall electronically advertise information on contract andpurchase requirements from the Division of Purchase and Contract, the Office ofState Construction, the Department of Transportation, and other agencies ofState government which make direct purchases from private suppliers. TheDivision shall coordinate with the other departments of State government toensure that the electronic advertisement is meeting the goals of disseminatingas widely as possible and in a timely manner information on those Statecontracts which are open for bids. A printed copy of any information that iselectronically advertised shall be made available to any party upon request.The Secretary of the Department of Administration may adopt rules governing theroutine and procedures to be followed in advertising information on contractand purchase opportunities, what contracts and purchases will be advertised,and under what conditions exceptions to the electronic advertisement may occur.(1983, c. 839; 1999‑417,s. 1.)
