§ 143‑441. Handling, storage and disposal of pesticides.
(a) The Board may adopt regulations:
(1) Concerning the handling, transport, storage (which mayinclude security precautions), display or distribution of pesticides, andconcerning the disposal of pesticides and pesticide containers.
(2) Restricting or prohibiting the use of certain types ofcontainers or packages for specific pesticides. These restrictions may apply totype of construction, strength, and/ or size to alleviate danger of spillage,breakage, or misuse.
(b) No person shall handle, transport, store, display, ordistribute pesticides in such a manner as to endanger man and his environmentor to endanger food, feed, or any other products that may be transported,stored, displayed, or distributed with pesticides, or in any manner contrary tothe regulations of the Board.
(c) No person shall dispose of, discard, or store any pesticidesor pesticide containers in such a manner as may cause injury to humans,vegetation, crops, livestock, wildlife, or to pollute any water supply orwaterway, or in any manner contrary to the regulations of the Board. (1971, c. 832, s. 1.)
