§ 143‑64.24. Applicability of Article.

This Article shall not applyto the following agencies:

(1)        The GeneralAssembly.

(2)        Special studycommissions.

(3)        The ResearchTriangle Institute.

(4)        The School ofGovernment at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

(5)        Attorneys employedby the North Carolina Department of Justice.

(6)        Physicians ordoctors performing contractual services for any State agency.

(7)        Independent ReviewOrganizations selected by the Commissioner of Insurance pursuant to G.S. 58‑50‑85.

(8)        The University ofNorth Carolina.
