§ 143B‑113.  JohnMotley Morehead Memorial Commission – authorization for counties to assist.

The special approval of the General Assembly is hereby given to allappropriations of surplus or non‑ad‑valorem tax funds that shouldbe made and paid over to said Commission by all counties and municipalities andthe same are declared to be for a public purpose and the special approval ofthe General Assembly is given for such appropriations. Upon the request of theCommission hereby created, the governing body of Guilford County or of the Cityof Greensboro may, in its discretion, make appropriations from non‑ad‑valorem tax revenues to the Commission.
