§ 143B‑139.6B.  Department of Health and HumanServices; authority to deduct payroll for child care services.

Notwithstanding G.S. 143‑3.3 and pursuant to rules adopted by theState Controller, an employee of the Department of Health and Human Servicesmay, in writing, authorize the Department to periodically deduct from theemployee's salary or wages paid for employment by the State, a designated lumpsum to be paid to satisfy the cost of services received for child care providedby the Department.
