§ 143B‑152.12. Eligible applicants: applications for grants.

(a)        A community‑ or neighborhood‑based 501(c)(3)entity or a consortium consisting of one or more local 501(c)(3) entities andone or more local school administrative units may apply for a grant.

(b)        Applicants for grants shall identify the neighborhood orneighborhoods whose children and families will be served by a family resourcecenter.  The decision‑making process for identifying and establishingfamily resource centers shall reflect the racial and socioeconomic diversity ofthe neighborhood or neighborhoods to be served.

(c)        A grant application shall include a process for assessing onan annual basis the success of the local plan in addressing problems. (1994, Ex. Sess., c. 24, s. 31(a).)
