§ 143B‑285.24. Grants and awards.

The objective of grants and awards made under the provisions of thisPart shall be to promote the further development of local and regionalenvironmental education and information dissemination to aid especially, butnot be limited to, school‑age children.  The Office shall recommend eachyear to the Governor recipients for the Project Tomorrow Award, which theGovernor shall award for outstanding environmental projects by elementaryschools in North Carolina.
