§ 143B-475.2. Fees for services. - North Carolina Statutes

§ 143B‑475.2.  Fees forservices.

A fee in the amount set by theDepartment is imposed on the entities listed in this section. The fees aredepartmental receipts and are applied to the Department's costs in providingservices to these entities. The fees apply to the following:

(1)        A local lawenforcement agency that employs more than 25 officers and that receivesequipment from the Department, whether by transfer, loan, or procurement underan agreement with the United States Department of Defense.

(2)        A person for whomthe Department stores evidence.  (2009‑451, s. 17.5.)
