§ 143B‑53.  Organizationof the Department.

The Department of CulturalResources shall be organized initially to include the Art Commission, the ArtMuseum Building Commission, the North Carolina Historical Commission, the TryonPalace Commission, the U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship Commission, the SirWalter Raleigh Commission, the Executive Mansion Fine Arts Committee, theAmerican Revolution Bicentennial Committee, the North Carolina AwardsCommittee, the America's Four Hundredth Anniversary Committee, the NorthCarolina Arts Council, the Public Librarian Certification Commission, the StateLibrary Commission, the North Carolina Symphony Society, Inc., the NorthCarolina State Art Society, and the Division of the State Library, the Divisionof Archives and History, the Division of the Arts, and such other divisions asmay be established under the provisions of the Executive Organization Act of1973.
