§146‑55.  Registration of grants.

Every person obtaining a grantshall, within two years after such grant is perfected, cause the same to beregistered in the county where the land lies; and any person may cause to bethere registered any certified copy of a grant from the office of the Secretaryof State, which shall have the same effect as if the original had beenregistered.
