§147‑27. Affixing great seal a second time to public papers.
In all cases where any personmay find it necessary to have the great seal of the State put again to anypublic paper, other than a grant for lands, he may prefer his petition to theGovernor and Council, who shall, if they deem the same proper, direct the sealto be put thereto.
