§147‑32.  Compensation for surviving spouses of Governors.

All surviving spouses ofGovernors of the State of North Carolina, who make written request to theDirector of the Budget, shall be paid the sum of twelve thousand dollars($12,000) a year in equal monthly installments, out of the State Treasury uponwarrants duly drawn thereon.
