§148‑25.  Secretary to investigate death of convicts.

The Secretary of Correction,upon information of the death of a convict other than by natural causes, shallinvestigate the cause thereof and report the result of such investigation tothe Governor, and for this purpose the Secretary may administer oaths and sendfor persons and papers.
