§ 153A‑102.1. Electronic notice of new fees and fee increases; public comment period.
(a) If a county has aWeb site maintained by one or more of its employees, the county shall providenotice of the imposition of or increase in fees or charges applicable solely tothe construction of development subject to the provisions of Part 2 of Article18 of this Chapter on the county's Web site at least seven days prior to thefirst meeting where the imposition of or increase in the fees or charges is onthe agenda for consideration.
(b) During theconsideration of the imposition of or increase in fees or charges as providedin subsection (a) of this section, the governing body of the county shallpermit a period of public comment.
(c) This section shallnot apply if the imposition of or increase in fees or charges is contained in abudget filed in accordance with the requirements of G.S. 159‑12. (2009‑436, s. 1.)
