§ 153A‑83.  Actingcounty manager.

By letter filed with the clerk, the manager may designate, subject tothe approval of the board of commissioners, a qualified person to exercise thepowers and perform the duties of manager during the manager's temporary absenceor disability. During an absence or disability, the board may revoke thedesignation at any time and appoint another person to serve until the managerreturns or his disability ceases. (1973, c. 822, s. 1.)
