§ 156‑113.  Feesfor collection and disbursement.

The fee allowed the sheriff or tax collector for collecting thedrainage tax as hereinbefore prescribed shall be two percent (2%) of the amountcollected, and the fee allowed the treasurer for disbursing the revenueobtained from the sale of drainage bonds shall be one percent (1%) of theamount disbursed: Provided, that no fee shall be allowed the sheriff or taxcollector or treasurer for collecting or receiving the revenue obtained fromthe sale of the bonds hereinbefore provided for, nor for disbursing the revenueraised or paying off such bonds; provided, that where the sheriff, taxcollector or treasurer is on a salary basis, the fees herein set out shall notbe charged.
