§ 156‑19.  Obstructing canal or ditch dug underagreement.

Where two or more persons have dug a canal or ditch along any naturaldrain or waterway under parol agreement, or otherwise, wherein all the partiesshall have contributed to the digging thereof, if any servient or lower ownershall fill up or obstruct said canal or ditch without the consent of the higherowners and without providing other drainage for the higher lands, he shall beguilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor.
