§ 156‑87. Right toenter upon lands; removal of timber.
In the construction of the work the contractor shall have the right toenter upon the lands necessary for this purpose and the right to remove privateor public bridges or fences and to cross private lands in going to or from thework. In case the right‑of‑way of the improvement is through timberthe owner thereof shall have the right to remove it, if he so desires, beforethe work of construction begins, and in case it is not removed by the landownerit shall become the property of the contractor and may be removed by him.
